FAQ

Common Care Questions

Can I place hot pots directly on the surface?

While quartz is heat-resistant, we recommend using trivets or hot pads for pots and pans directly from the stove or oven. Sudden extreme temperature changes can potentially damage the surface.

Will wine, coffee, or juice stain my quartz?

Our non-porous surface resists staining from common substances. However, we recommend wiping up spills promptly. If any residue remains, it can be easily removed with a mild cleaner.

Can I cut directly on the surface?

While quartz won't be damaged by knife cuts the way other materials might, using cutting boards is recommended. This protects both your knives (quartz will dull them quickly) and prevents potential scratching.

What if I get permanent marker on my surface?

Permanent marker can be removed using isopropyl alcohol or a specialized surface cleaner. Apply, let sit briefly, then wipe clean with a soft cloth.

Does quartz require sealing?

No! Unlike natural stone, our engineered quartz surfaces are completely non-porous and never require sealing or reconditioning. This is one of the key advantages over marble and granite.
